I disagree with this post. Stop motion animation is not "new" to music videos. It was prominently featured in the Peter Gabriel video for Sledghammer. It won 9 MTV Music Video awards in 1986. Just say it's a trend "returning" to music videos today. “In the past few years, the music industry has grown hip to this classic technique and has begun employing it in many a music video.”

I disagree with this post. Stop motion animation is not “new” to music videos. It was prominently featured in the Peter Gabriel video for Sledghammer. It won 9 MTV Music Video awards in 1986.

Just say it’s a trend “returning” to music videos today.
