Hello, I just hopped over on your site by means of StumbleUpon. No longer one thing I might typically read, however I liked your thoughts none the less. Thanks for making one thing worth reading.

I'm a radiohead fan, its sort of like i'm not big into Neil Young or Bob Dylan or Sonic Youth but i understand why they are great artists because they are exciting and obviously creative. i think you have to be really into music and musicianship and styles to understand the difference between ok musicians and great artists. Radioheads back catalogue is out of this worldly diverse and interesting, if you cant at least get kicks out of a handful of radiohead songs even b-sides then i feel sorry for you but i understand that some people just cant get into it especially if they are focussed on overly poppy/happy simplistic music. Radiohead have explored so many styles and pulled it all off at a high standard. To be honest i cant understand how people can't fall in love with songs like "There There", "The Bends", "Lucky", "Jigsaw", "Optomistic", "A Glass House", "Go To Sleep", "Bodysnatchers", "High and Dry", "Homesick ALien" or the songs that are instantly catchy and easy to get into.

Some people can be depended on to back a point of view that serves little more than to differ, because the act of differing makes them feel they're filling a niche. At this late juncture, can anyone do better than to just
focus on what they dig, and simply disregard what's not worthy of an opinion?
The music scene at this time is so appalling, that my mind, in order to preserve itself, demands that I simply demure. Full props to Radiohead.

I think you guys misunderstood the article in Spin. I'll go so far as to say that the writer of the article is actually a big fan of the band.

Good job there giving attention to an inane press release that was clearly a publicity stunt. By the way, aren't you doing exactly what Spin Magazine did by using Radiohead's star power to get people to come to your site and read this?

Plus one for DKs comment. It's right easy to hate on Radiohead, and yeah, they are a bit of a sacred cow, but a little bit of ill thought out experiment is better than the same thing album after album.

Another sniveling dweeb with low ratings, a lame band and nothing to write by it's deadline. Get a job Fries-and-Burger-face. People should know what to watch out for, thanks Judy.

Radiohead has done their job well as musicians. They became successful and then did what pleased them more and more. I guess when you are 'indie' you need to keep making the same shite as every other wannabe or your dedicated fans won't like you.
