Music Video Sex Scenes That Will Scar You for Life

This week, Adan Jodorowsky (aka Adanowsky), son of cult film maestro Alejandro Jodorowsky, released his extremely NSFW music video featuring cat faces, crucifixes, and sex with adult film actress and writer Stoya. Blending an ‘80s-style vibe with some pornier “Je t’aime… moi non plus” murmurings, “Would You Be Mine” has a surrealistic tone that might spook the uninitiated. Jodorowsky’s freaky music video is hardly alone. Just like those movie sex scenes we wish we could forget, here are ten music video sex scenes that have embedded themselves into our mind grapes and won’t be leaving any time soon.

Is Tropical, “Dancing Anymore”

A teenage pool boy goes on a masturbation spree in Is Tropical’s ultra horny video for “Dancing Anymore.” The actor looks like a French John Francis Daley of Freaks and Geeks fame, which is slightly icky if you were a fan of the show, but it’s hardly the weirdest part of the short. CGI babes of all ilk get it on with the teenager, whose fantasies becoming increasingly bizarre (unless WoW is your porn, perhaps). The glitchy additions are a nice touch, but result in some cringy scenes (headless doggy style!).

Kanye West, “Bound 2”

We admired this Kanye video for its smart and subversive approach, but nothing was more polarizing in 2013 than the sight of Kimye simulating sex on a motorcycle. Kanye has indicated that the video was “supposed to be bad, that it was bad for the purpose of being bad,” but that didn’t stop people from freaking about a little jiggle and giggle.

Rammnstein, “Pussy”

This will be the funniest thing you remember from German industrial-metal band Rammstein or the most frightening. The group took the Lars von Trier approach to their hardcore sex scenes by joining their own likeness to male porn stars’ bodies with some CGI wizardry. It’s pretty seamless for 2009-era special effects, but has that slightly off quality that makes it a touch uncanny. The cover photo for the single is also an odd one.

Soft Cell, “Sex Dwarf”

Tim Pope directed this banned music video for Soft Cell’s “Sex Dwarf,” which features little people, S&M sexcadpades, raw meat, and a chainsaw. The British police confiscated the short before it could be released, declaring it pornographic. It has a great exploitation cinema vibe, but bloody orgies certainly aren’t for everyone.

Major Lazer, “Bubble Butt” (feat. Bruno Mars, 2 Chainz, Tyga & Mystic)

Tentacle sex and butts.

Nine Inch Nails, “Happiness in Slavery”

Supermasochist Bob Flanagan gets Hellraiser-style nookie from a machine in Nine Inch Nails’ banned music video for “Happiness in Slavery.” In a mix of pleasure and pain, Flanagan gets torn to pieces — which explains why for years this was rumored to be a real-life snuff flick.

Color Me Badd, “I Wanna Sex You Up”

If only for the cheesy mugging before softcore smushing and the creepy band member who looks like the curly-haired vamp from The Lost Boys (sorry, Alex Winter). Make it stop.

Flying Lotus “Parisian Goldfish”

Dancing to a Flying Lotus jam turns into kaleidoscopic sexy times with terrifying O-faces. Drugs not required.

David Lynch, “Crazy Clown Time”

Drunken backyard humping set to David Lynch’s unnerving chipmunk voice. We’d like to go back to the Red Room now, please.

DyE, “Fantasy”

DyE (aka Juan de Guillebon) dug deep into the Cronenbergian vault of sex nightmares for his animated video for “Fantasy.” The sex doesn’t get very far, but inspires a hellacious scene that includes a zombie-like teenager devouring her partner’s genitals.
