Walter White Is Alive and Well and Working as an Announcer at Electric Daisy Carnival

If you thought Walter White was dead at the end of Breaking Bad, you may have been mistaken: the obvious alternative was that he decided to hide out in Vegas while taking up a career as an announcer at a massive EDM festival. At least, that’s what Bryan Cranston’s activities this weekend would suggest.

The actor appeared onstage at Electric Daisy Carnival for progressive trance act Above & Beyond’s set on Saturday, in character as Walter White. And this was no act of randomness — White, perennial narcissist, was actually introducing the band’s very related track, “Walter White.” Cranston opened with his famous line, “Say my name,” then pressed the button to begin the track, hugged the band (with uncharacteristic warmth, if we’re still talking about Walter), then proceeded to look far less awkward dancing to trance than most. Cranston later tweeted:

Leaving EDC – Vegas right now. Pulled an all nighter. Old, my ass… Old, my head. Old, my feet… Happy Fathers Day!
