Five Looks We Hope Zac Posen Diffuses for Target
1:09 pm Monday Nov 30, 2009 by Adrian Muniz

The ladies over at Fashionista reported this morning that Zac Posen will be the latest in a line of designers tapped to design a capsule collection for Target. Hot on the heels of Anna Sui, Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, and Alexander McQueen, Posen’s GO International line will launch online and in stores on April 25, 2010. But, without a single sketch or sample to gawk at until then, we figured we’d give Zac some suggestions. Some of our favorite looks off the Zac Posen runway we hope to see at your local strip mall after the jump.

From a sampling of his Resort ‘09 and Spring ‘10 we’ve got a handful of looks that can take any girl from the office to the bar. Sure, look #2 might scream a little Eastern Airlines stewardess circa 1963 and not everyone can handle a baby doll dress like the model in look #1 but, hey, we’re dreamers. We love color, print, and a girly silhouette, something that Mr. Posen never disappoints us with. What do you think? Will his collection sink or swim? Or are you still just far too excited by the launch of the Rodarte for Target line in just a few short weeks to even think about next April?
