Fallon Channels His Masterful Donald to Skewer the Real Donald Over Megyn Kelly Comments

It’s August 2015. The Republican National Convention is a whole 11 months away. By that time, it’s highly unlikely, unless you happen to be a white male mega-millionaire, that won’t have personally been insulted by Donald Trump. So, until you receive your very own insult, you’re just going to have to make do with watching Trump insult others (sometimes group by group, other times one by one!), and then watching the comedians who’ll thereafter turn those insults into material with which to insult Trump — as Jimmy Fallon did last night on The Tonight Show.

Fallon’s Trump impression is as good as it gets, and last night’s bit was one of his best. He attempts to defend “his” comments as innocent, claiming it’s just everyone else who is “deviant.” Fallon-Trump says, “I called Megyn Kelly to personally not apologize,” referring to real-Trump having made a blatantly misogynist comment (he’d said she had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever”) about her hosting of the GOP debate.
