Florence Welch Is a “Belieber” Too

A week after Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean” was covered by Chvrches, his collaboration with Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo), “Where Are Ü Now?” has received a similar nod at BBC1 Radio from another UK musician, Florence + The Machine.

Though the synthesizer riff of the original was preserved, the cover is slower in tempo, and is driven more by live percussion and Florence Welch’s aching vocals. The Live Lounge set also included “Ship to Wreck,” “Sweet Nothing,” “What Kind of Man,” “Queen of Peace,” and “Delilah”—a sort of highlight reel from How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, their new album released earlier this year.
