There’s a Pfefferman Wedding (and New Faces) in the Teaser for ‘Transparent’s’ Second Season

Amazon has released a teaser for the upcoming season of their groundbreaking, critically-acclaimed, and Emmy-award winning series, Transparent. Running just under a minute, the teaser unveils itself like an invitation for us to attend the wedding of eldest daughter Sarah (played by Amy Landecker), and her partner Tammy (guest star Melora Hardin of The Office-fame).

The second season will also include new faces: back in September, Variety reported that Oscar-winner Anjelica Huston will appear in three episodes, playing a new “friend” to Jeffrey Tambor’s Maura. Today, Deadline has reported that veteran theater actress Cherry Jones (24 and Doubt on Broadway) has been added to the long roster of guest stars, which will include the returning Alexandra Billings, Carrie Brownstein, Kathryn Hahn, Rob Huebel, Trace Lysette, Alex MacNicoll, Tig Notaro, Michaela Watkins, and Bradley Whitford.

The second season will premiere on Amazon on December 11th.
