Yes, there are too many sequels and not nearly enough original movies nowadays, but it’s hard to get mad at the idea of more Derek Zoolander.
The trailer for next February’s follow-up to Ben Stiller’s 2001 fashion spoof is officially out, and it’s got almost as many celebrity co-stars as callbacks: Justin Bieber shows up as a victim of a conspiracy to kill the most beautiful people in the world, Penelope Cruz plays a badass super-spy, and Benedict Cumberbatch shows up as a genderless fashionista (with Kyle Mooney as his lackey).
Combined with the return of Owen Wilson’s Hansel and Will Ferrell’s Mugatu, the sequel—co-written by Justin Theroux!—has all the makings of a crowd-pleaser. Watch the full clip below:
