Today at Flavorpill, we pored over the prestigious winners of The 2009 Urlies — a special congrats to Viral Video of the Year winner David After Dentist. We discovered where all of the food in our fridge has been disappearing to. We made a mental note never to eat at a “dinner circus” in Germany. It’s dangerous. We were excited for Zooey Deschanel’s cameo on her sister Emily’s show, Bones. We really, really wanted a Droid. We wished someone had saved Ray Bradbury’s beloved library. We imagined what the Earth would look like with Saturn’s rings. We were slightly intimidated by Foreign Policy’s list of 142 books that will make you smarter. We were fascinated by a “Family Portrait” of China’s 56 ethnic groups. We ranked the prettiest late night TV’s logos. And finally, we sang some of the most offensive Christmas carols we could find. Just because we felt like it.
