Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys Join ‘The Voice’ as Coaches

Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are replacing Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams as coaches for season 11 of The Voice, which airs in September. Cyrus will be a Voice advisor on season 10, and Keys previously appeared on the series as a mentor in season seven. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have stuck it out since day one, will make a return to the series. Stefani is touring to promote her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, and previous coach Christina Aguilera has taken every other season off. This will be the first time the show has two female coaches. Cyrus’ tongue-wagging, fashion-crazed antics may be one reason to watch the series that you had no idea lasted this long.
