Kanye West Puts Taylor Swift Diss Track “Famous” on Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play

Until today, Kanye West had not made The Life of Pablo available on services other than Tidal. Actually, he’s maybe not even done recording The Life of Pablo, as evidenced by his alterations made to the album two weeks ago. The latest proof that Kanye hasn’t put Pablo to rest is his decision to upload a modified version “Famous” to Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play.

The fact that Kanye decided to make this track more widely available begs the question(s): is Kanye trying to readjust his approach to make this album a more traditional success? He did just make a reported $1 million from selling Pablo merchandise at a Manhattan pop-up. Or, does he just want his new version of his headline-making song to be heard by everyone? (You’ll recall the reason for those headlines were these three lines: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous (God damn)/ I made that bitch famous.”) Or, most likely, does Kanye just not give a damn anymore?

Listen to the song via Spotify below. Note that the track has barely been changed, as Kanye swapped original line “she be Puerto Rican day parade-wavin'” with “she in school to be a real estate agent.”
