“Smoke once to travel, smoke again to return.” Those are the rules of the titular smoking apparatus in Time Traveling Bong, which co-stars Ilana Glazer and Paul W. Downs (Broad City‘s Trey).
There’s not much to say about the plot that isn’t in the title of the show, but the just-released trailer promises the TV-movie will be as absurd as the title suggests. Downs and Glazer will travel to prehistoric times, the ’50s — where Glazer as a housewife has sex with a milkman, obviously — and, maybe, the future.
Written by Downs and his partner, Lucia Aniello, Bong is a TV-movie with a 4/20 focus, so it’s appropriate that it’s set to premiere on April 20 on Comedy Central. Watch the trailer below.
