Lin-Manuel Miranda to Perform Hyper Narration of ‘Hamilton’ on ‘Drunk History’

Drunk History creator Derek Waters revealed at a Comic-Con panel that Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda is set to narrate the story of Hamilton during the series fourth season. The award-winning hip-hop musical Hamilton centers on the rivalry between Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and politician Aaron Burr.

Drunk History, of course, features an inebriated narrator who recounts events from American history while actors play out those events and lip sync the narrator’s retelling. We can only imagine the work they have cut out for them narrating the adorably hyper-happy Miranda’s speed-talking, which is often head-spinning while sober.

Other guests for the new season of Drunk History, which returns on September 27, include Paget Brewster, Allan McLeod, Billie Joe Armstrong, Steve Berg, Rachel Bilson, Michael Cera, Josh Charles, Kat Dennings, Ben Folds, Dave Grohl, Tony Hale, Ed Helms, Thomas Middleditch, Elizabeth Olsen, Aubrey Plaza, Ronda Rousey, Liev Schreiber, Alia Shawkat, Duncan Trussell, and more.
