“Save the Day” is the short-short-short version of the narrative powering Joss Whedon’s Avengers films; it’s also the name of the super PAC he launched back in September, in which the Buffy creator and his celebrity pals encourage citizens to vote – provided they’re not voting for Trump. Their latest short features Keegan-Michael Key as “Frank,” a local TV weatherman, sharing his grim forecast for the day of Trump’s election. Take a look:
There are so many quote-worthy nuggets here, but personally, my favorite line is “Tammy! You voted for Jill Stein, you thoughtless ass! Now suck it up like the rest of us!”
