What’s On at Flavorpill: Link That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we gawked at Spencer Tunick’s latest naked photography project at the Sydney Opera House. We wondered what would happen if Community were more like Friends. We made plans to see both Alec Baldwin in an upcoming Long Island production of Equus and William Kentridge’s crazy directorial debut, a rare staging of Shostakovich’s The Nose at the Metropolitan Opera. We imagined reading The New Yorker on our iPad this summer while simultaneously contemplating a future without bookshelf espionage. We jammed out to the ultimate New York playlist, followed up by the 22 greatest songs written for commercials. We fell even harder for Roger Ebert after reading Will Leitch’s story on Deadspin. We watched The Jersey Shore recreate scenes from The Hurt Locker — we can’t wait to see what they do with Avatar. We were super excited at the prospect of no more hangovers thanks to oxygenated alcohol. And finally, we were surprised to learn that the earthquake in Chile has likely shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds. Crazy, right?
