Today at Flavorpill, we looked at influential beards throughout history. We made plans to visit The Assembled Picture Library of New York City, a new exhibition space/workshop run by artists Robin Cameron and Jason Polan. We feared the people-sized sperm in the promo for the National Geographic Channel’s upcoming TV special. We were amazed by these artworks made from drinking straws. We were scandalized by and yet drawn to the new CK underwear ads featuring Twilight‘s Kellan Lutz and True Blood‘s Mechad Brooks. We generated some Shakespearean-style insults. We tried to imagine John Grisham’s A Time to Kill on Broadway. We saw Jesus in a frying pan. And finally, we were happy to hear that Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are among the Hollywood bigwigs rallying to save the Hollywood sign. Unfortunately, the group still needs to raise $12.5 million by April 14.
