In this film, which was originally titled “The Baster,” Jennifer Aniston plays Kassie, a single woman who is ready to have a baby. Jason Bateman stars alongside as her neurotic best friend Wally, who wishes that she wanted him and his sperm. Patrick Wilson is the donor. Or at least that’s what Kassie thought — in reality, a drunken Wally pulled a switcheroo at what looks like an artificial insemination party. Flashforward seven years, and Kassie is the proud mother of an extremely neurotic 7-year-old who happens to share many character tics with Uncle Wally. Test audiences hated it. We think it sounds way too much like that Jennifer Lopez movie, The Back-up Plan. What do you think?

Any movie that thinks the expression “friend zone” is still relevant/funny is having some serious issues.
