What’s On at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we watched Thom Yorke sing one of our favorite sad songs that’s not by Radiohead: “Love Will Tear Us Apart.” We loved these beautiful color photographs of New York City, taken back in 1941. We stopped to think about how many of our favorite movies are centered around dead bodies. We wanted more of these examples of neighborhood-friendly street art. We watched a boring New York Times editorial meeting thanks to the insane popularity of “transparency.” We remembered why we don’t go to baseball games without a poncho. We were disappointed in the Donner Party — they were likely just eating the family dog. We couldn’t decide which nickname for the new Pompidou art museum was our favorite. We laughed at the 40 dumbest signs from the Tea Party protests. And finally, nabbed one of Kate Bingaman-Burt‘s super charming Significant Objects prints for 20X200. Proceeds from the sales go to Girls Write Now.
