		<description>Makes me curious about the book, but I disagree on Denby&#039;s take on Anthony Lane. Lane&#039;s beyond snarky in some of his reviews. i&#039;m usually much happier when I see Denby&#039;s name in the New Yorker TOC each week. </description>

		<description>I find it interesting that the online writers who have an issue with Snark are only attacking Denby&#039;s sillier jabs and not focusing on the truly devastating parts of his argument -- that the Internet has not (and may never) produce writers who are as talented as the ones who choose to work at print publications. Isn&#039;t that more upsetting than someone accusing you of meanness/immaturity? </description>
