Vanessa Prager is a 25-year-old , LA-based artist who has been a part of the exhibition scene for over six years now. Last week she debuted a new series of drawings at an event at the SOHO House, accompanied by Ali Helnwein’s string quartet. While known for her oil paintings, in Love You Too Vanessa uses blue and red Bic Cristal ballpoint pens to create wonderful, youthful, and sometimes haunting portraits on vintage sheet music. Here, we feature a few of our favorites.

I’m not generally negative on creativity, but this looks terribly amateurish. She’s ruining vintage sheet music with awful drawings. And I don’t even care about vintage sheet music.
one would think that there would be notes on vintage sheet music, instead of just the bars, right?
I agree, this looks very amateurish. A lot of her proportions are off as well.
