Victoria LeGrand and Alex Scully, the duo behind dreamy pop group Beach House, have released “Forever Still,” a short film that shows the band performing four songs from Bloom, their most recent LP, over the course of a single night in “various locations that are special for us around El Paso and Tornillo, Texas.” Each song was recorded live outdoors, resulting in beautiful, haunting renditions of “Wild,” “The Hours,” “Wishes,” and the 17-minute “Irene.” The awesome shots of sprawling desert scenery make the short easy on the eyes as well as the ears.
