After months of cryptic teasers and odd announcements (a Skrillex soundtrack!) and Pussy Riot ripoff posters, we’ve finally got a real trailer for Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers. With a rallying cry of “spring break forever”; scenes that feature its teen-sweetheart stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson getting arrested and wielding guns in neon bikinis; a delightfully ridiculous Britney Spears sing-along; and a whole lot of James Franco looking and sounding like a slightly less educated Kevin Federline, it’s just as shiny and over-the-top as we could have hoped.
