Always keeping their eagle eyes attuned to racial and gender diversity, Jezebel has put together a wonderful run-down of the changes happening behind the scenes on the late night circuit. While our hosts remain white men, the writers’ rooms seem to finally be increasing their amounts of non-whiteness and non-maleness, signaling a refreshing sea change in late night TV. Jezebel even created this handy graphic (above) to illustrate the landscape’s writers’ room diversity. Missing from the chart is Seth Meyers (because his show premieres tonight), whose wizardly writers include Chioke Nassor, the mastermind behind Jay Pharaoh’s “I Am A Dog” Kanye parody, Alison Agosti, Amber Ruffin, Michelle Wolf, and Andrew Law.
