The Guardian reports that Rage Against the Machine may be working on a fifth LP, following a relatively quiet 13-year stretch. SPIN also hinted that the band may be working on something new, with possible touring plans. Both sources reference an interview with Metal Insider, in which Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler talked about the drummer Sabbath will use for their tour – either Brad Wilk or Tommy Clufetos – and said, “We’re not sure yet… I think Brad’s got commitments with Rage Against the Machine.” But don’t get too excited yet; Rage guitarist Tom Morello told Rolling Stone and Billboard late last year that the band had no further plans.
