You can’t hide anything from those rascally Redditors. NME reports that a Reddit user who goes by the handle @andersonenvy claims to have dug through the code on The Strokes’ website until he found the cached image you see above, which could be the cover art for the band’s upcoming album. Styled like the packaging for a vintage RCA tape reel, it bears the title Comedown Machine and specifies a running time of 37 minutes, 49 seconds. If this is real, we may need to get excited — and rock bands may need to start keeping a closer eye on what’s buried in the code of their websites.
