We keep pretty close tabs on James Franco here at Flavorwire, and for a while there, it seemed that he had taken a bit of a break. But between the poetry book deal and the new music video and this trailer for Franco and Travis Mathews’ “homo-sex-art-film” Interior. Leather Bar., it’s clear he’s back to his old, shall we say, tricks. Formerly known as 40 Minutes, Interior. Leather Bar. documents the collaborators’ recreation of some controversial lost S&M scenes from Cruising — a meta-project so deep within Franco’s wheelhouse that it may as well have come from a Random James Franco Project Generator.
