Jon Stewart, Louis C.K., Tina Fey Weigh in on Charlie Hebdo Massacre

American comedians weighed in on the Charlie Hebdo tragedy yesterday, choosing seriousness over their own comic takes for the most part, and the time being.

Jon Stewart delivered a sober monologue, while Louis C.K.’s hand-drawn “Charlie Hebdo” T-shirt on stage sent a message throughout his act.

Conan O’Brien also offered a monologue devoted to the attacks.

Speaking to the Television Critics Association press tour, Fey spoke about the Interview controversy combined with the Charlie Hebdo tragedy, saying they both showed comedians’ speech being curtailed: “even if it’s dumb jokes in The Interview, we have the right to make them.”
