Sofia Coppola’s highly anticipated new film, The Bling Ring, is set for a June release, according to Vulture. Based on real events, and inspired by the popular Vanity Fair article “The Suspects Wore Louboutins,” the film centers on a group of fame-obsessed teens who stole swag from their favorite celebrities, including Paris Hilton, who appears in The Bling Ring as a real-life victim. With a cast including the likes of Emma Watson and Leslie Mann – and Vulture’s report that the movie will open with a Nicole Richie tweet – June can’t come soon enough. You can read more about the film on the Hollywood Reporter.
