Somebody Up There Likes Me is “like a Todd Solondz film directed by Wes Anderson,” according to a review quoted in its trailer. And judging by what little has been written about the movie, its plot — following a series of romances over the course of 35 years and involving some kind of potentially magical briefcase — really is as much of an indie dream as that description implies. But that’s not why we’re excited about it; we’re excited about it because it stars Nick Offerman, making those dry, gruff remarks that Nick Offerman is so good at making. [via Slashfilm]
