We can’t tell yet whether Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby in 3D will be a lavish, fascinating failure (think Moulin Rouge) or an adaptation so flamboyant and audacious that it somehow works (think Romeo + Juliet). But we’re sure we’ll enjoy it either way — largely because we’re so excited about the beautiful sets and costumes we’ve seen in the previews and stills.
