That Nicole Kidman Grace Kelly Biopic Looks Dull as Toast

Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco

The Guardian has unveiled the first trailer for Grace of Monaco, the Nicole Kidman-fronted biographical film from director Olivier Dahan (La Vie en Rose), and it looks… well, pretty much exactly like you’d expect a studio Grace Kelly biopic starring Nicole Kidman to look. The music is lush, the voice-over is reverential, Kidman is soft-focused to the hills, and there’s little here to inspire much enthusiasm about the picture (except the presence of Tim Roth and Frank Langella in supporting roles). But hey, here’s the trailer, if you like this kinda thing:

Grace of Monaco is out November 27 in limited release.
