The Cure, although not typically known for their Christmas spirit, performed the first of three Christmas shows last night at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo in London. The band stunned with a forty-song set over more than two-and-a-half hours, which included four encores.

They played “The Wailing Wall” and “The Empty World” for the first time in thirty years; the concert also featured the live debut of “The Man Inside My Mouth” from the b-side The Head On The Door.
