Earlier today, Twitter was presented with the unlikely spectacle of Nick Cave answering questions in 140 characters or less — as part of the promo campaign for Push the Sky Away, his Caveness logged onto the official Bad Seeds Twitter account to answer a selection of fans’ questions. He clearly wasn’t greatly into the idea — in response to an early question about whether he was “hating this,” he replied “I am hating this beyond measure and I haven’t even started yet.” Still, although insights into his life and work were few and far between, there was at least one signature example of his acerbic wit to be had:
