Amid the Girls craze, we’re delighted to find out that three familiar awesome, animated girls – Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup – will be returning to our screens. As Vulture reports, Cartoon Network has announced that Powerpuff Girls, last on television in 2005, is to be rebooted in a new special later this year, complete with a “redesigned and re-imagined,” more up-to-date look. The show will also introduce the character Fibonacci Sequins, Townsville’s mathematician, to be voiced by none other than Ringo Starr. Let the new Powerpuff Girls craze commence!
