In an interview with Billboard where he aired his frustrations at not being taken seriously as a producer by the music establishment, Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator (whose third album, Wolf, dropped this week) revealed that he co-wrote a song with Frank Ocean for Justin Bieber’s Believe that was then rejected. He’s also apparently featured on Miley Cyrus’s upcoming album, although we’re less excited than trepidatious about that one. Tyler’s take on it: “I’ve got so many beats and songs, but no one’s giving me a chance yet…I want to take Justin Bieber for a month and just lock him up in a cage where we sit and make music. He’s one of the most successful people in the world, but his music could be so much tighter.” We know, Tyler. We know.
