Marvel has released an extended version of the 30-second trailer for Iron Man 3 that aired during the Super Bowl last night, and although about 40 seconds of the additional minute consist of Robert Downey Jr. staring at the screen and making a thoroughly meta joke about the length of the shot, there’s still plenty of brand-new material from the May 3rd release. In addition to the airplane rescue shown during the game, there are several glimpses of Ben Kingsley as a new villain, shots of Stark and company looking generally panicked and defeated, and even an introspective monologue from the typically flippant protagonist.
