You know Sundance Channel’s Iconoclasts? Well, the German show Durch die Nacht mit… (Into The Night) seems kind of like that, except ten times more bizarre. BlackBook points us to a particularly noteworthy 2010 episode, in which controversial American filmmaker shows controversial Argentine-French filmmaker Gaspar Noé around Nashville. As you might expect, they have a great, weird old time, visiting places where Korine used to do acid and running into David Berman of Silver Jews. If that’s not weird enough for you, the episode is directed by Bruce LaBruce, who you know either from his crazy independent films or from his career as a gay porn director.
