Watch: Jimmy Fallon Remakes Opening Credits of ‘Fresh Prince’

Jimmy FallonJimmy Fallon is an endless fountain of amusing entertainment news: if you don’t have the stamina to sit through commercials or stay up for The Tonight Show, that’s fine, as his show seems structured to be broken into a series of viral videos the next day (which surely contributes to peoples’ lack of stamina re: sitting through an entire late night program). And today’s typically nostalgia-tickling video is a shot-for-shot remake of the opening of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. This would seem arbitrary, but for the fact that The Tonight Show is currently visiting Los Angeles — as Will Smith originally did back in 1990 (yes, it was almost 25 years ago), Fallon tells the story of how he went from grafitti-ing the walls of Rockefeller Center, Studio 6B (okay, this is where the stories diverge) to getting shipped out to LA, thereby becoming the “Fresh Host of Tonight.” Watch:
