We just woke up to the news that there’s a new David Bowie video to be seen. Woo and, indeed, hoo. The video accompanies the second single off The Next Day, which is entitled “The Stars (Are Out Tonight),” and features a star turn from none other than Tilda Swinton, who plays Bowie’s wife. It plays on the idea of Bowie as ageing, sedentary rock star and also lampoons Los Angeles in general, depicting what happens to his life when a bunch of crazy kids move in next door. The film was made by director Floria Sigismondi, and it’s most excellent (and the song’s not bad, either.) [via The Quietus]
