We came across the new trailer for Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming movie, Side Effects, on the Guardian this morning. The star-studded cast of the hotly anticipated thriller includes Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Jude Law, and centers on a woman (Mara) who turns to her psychiatrist (played by Law) – and a course of antidepressants – to deal with her husband, Tatum’s, imminent release from jail. From the trailer, the movie looks to be quite different (to say the least) from the last Soderbergh-Tatum collaboration, Magic Mike, charting the psychological journey of a woman in the throes of drugs, who needs antidepressants to be herself. Side Effects is slated for release February 8th in the US.
