Like everyone else, we have sort of mixed feelings about Tom Cruise, but we have to say that the first trailer for Oblivion, in which he plays a drone-repairman-cum-unlikely-hero in a post-apocalyptic world, looks kind of good! We can’t parse the plot, but there are lots of satisfying nods to post-ap and sci-fi standards, and Morgan Freeman in steampunk-style goggles, which never hurt anybody. What do you think? [via /Film]
