Motion Designer Joe Donaldson combined hand-drawn animation and computer-rotoscoping to create a video vignette inspired by scenes from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. Donaldson paid homage to the iconic director’s sci-fi epic by fusing gestural, organic linework with harder geometric shapes for his narrative piece.
