Hilarious Portraits of Air Guitar Champions in Action

For the past few years, Christine Zona has been photographing rock stars. Well, hypothetical rock stars, anyway. To meet the subjects of her hilarious portraits, which we spotted over at Feature Shoot, Zona visits Air Guitar competitions around San Francisco and LA, a world introduced to her by Cold Steel Renegade himself. ”These guys are amazing,” Zona says. “They live ‘normal’ lives but become these larger than life characters on stage just once a year. Following their air guitar careers and photographing them has become an addiction.” Zona is currently putting together a book on the series.
