Today at Flavorpill, we flipped out over the news that HBO will debut an animated show based on Ricky Gervais’s podcast. We felt sorry for all of the people who will never get to visit Love Land, China’s sexually explicit theme park that was shutdown before it even opened. We found it awesomely proactive that a customer redesigned American Airlines’ Web site after a bad experience. We found it kind of funny that GOP love is way down across the board — even among the olds. We were fascinated by these brand timeline portraits of all the products you interact with on any given day; it’s kind of interesting to juxtapose with the subversive work of Hank Willis Thomas. We wondered if the Miramax speculation is true. It’s sucky because we really enjoyed Adventureland. We also don’t know anyone else who paid to see it. And finally, we decided that if soda gets taxed then fancy pants bottled water should, too. It’s only fair.
