2. Google is set to launch an unlicensed test version of its digital music service in San Francisco this afternoon; Music Beta will allow users to upload their personal music libraries to their own account on Google’s servers. [via NME]

In order to avoid the kind of gallery rage caused by blockbuster exhibits packed with patrons, The National Gallery has announced that its forthcoming Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan show will reduce the number of admissions from the 230 per half-hour slot it is allowed under health and safety rules to 180. What’s on at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we ate some really tasty Lego sushi. We were happy to hear that the Getty Institute will work with Egypt to help conserve and manage the tomb of Tutankhamen — we still need to see him! We discovered the flu shot finder, which will make our moms happy. We watched a man shooting bananas out of his nose. No, that’s not a euphemism for something else. We read Nick Hornby’s take on Levi Johnston’s accidental celebrity. We were depressed by My Morning Jacket’s upcoming appearance on American Dad. We decided that Rihanna and Chris Brown are definitely just toying with us. We enjoyed Jason Reitman’s diagram — and felt kind of embarrassed for our kind. And finally, we wished Sesame Street a very happy 40th birthday. We wish we’d been around back when Cookie Monster smoked a pipe!

Recently released numbers for network television on Sunday night had a small surprise in the top spot for the last few weeks. According to The Live Feed Desperate Housewives’ reign at the top is coming to an end. Replacing it in the top spot? Seth McFarlane’s popular (and Emmy-nominated) series, Family Guy. Twice now.
