The More You Know: Sweet Valley High Edition

+

If you are a bookish girl who was born in the ’80s, we’re about to send your childhood into a tailspin: Did you know that Ann M. Martin (author of The Baby-sitters Club series) ghostwrote the very first Sweet Valley Twins book, Best Friends? You know, the one where Elizabeth wants to work on the 6th grade newspaper, but Jessica doesn’t. And Jessica wants to become a member of the snobby Unicorns, but Elizabeth doesn’t. And all they have in common any more is ballet.

In other Sweet Valley news of earth shattering proportions, in the original draft of Double Love, Jessica winds up with Todd Wilkins, not Elizabeth. Shocking! That’d be like if Dawn had ended up dating Logan. [via ONTD]

The answer: in their early 30s. Yep, it made us feel old, too. And so we decided to reconnect with our favorite Stoneybrook, CT residents, channeling our inner Ann M. Martin to come up with what we think are plausible current realities for the gang.

Check out our predictions (and a clip from The Baby-Sitters Club TV series featuring a baby-faced Zach Braff) after the jump.
