We don’t think anyone would disagree that autumn is one of the most beautiful times to be in New York City. At least we know that we agreed with Garrison Keillor when he said “There are about four perfect days in New York every year… and all of them are in October.” Photographer Jamie Scott’s “Fall” is a testament to the season, now all but completely behind us (for this year, at least), a spectacular time-lapse that shows Central Park over six months, the colors changing from green to gold before fading away. “I chose 15 locations in the park and revisited them 2 days a week for six months, recording all camera positions and lens information to create consistency in the images,” Scott explains. “All shots were taken just after sunrise.” Watch the gorgeous video after the jump, and start counting the days until our next October. … Read More
