Today at Flavorpill, we watched helplessly from the sidelines as this kid got snatched up by a soldier during G20. We discovered yet another reason to love filmmaker Jane Campion — an award-winning short entitled “An Exercise in Discipline: Peel.” We listened to Merge Records remixes after remixes. We wanted to buy a copy of Dennis Hopper’s new monograph, which includes this black and white stunner of Jane Fonda with a bow and arrow. We read up on sisterhood, and what it has to do with Joe Wilson’s outburst. We were impressed by the man who has arguably the most consistent smile in the world: Barack Obama. We were happy to see that protest demonstrations can be protested, albeit with Kanye tactics.
