Built to Spill Stream Their New Album, There Is No Enemy, on MySpace

+

Indie-rock vets Built To Spill are currently streaming their long-awaited, new album, There is No Enemy on MySpace. Listen to it here. Built to Spill founder Doug Martsch’s wife has written the band’s new “about” page, describing her reaction to the record as “… I think, ‘How can people make music this good?’ Even though I witness and minorly assist, I still do not understand how theirs or any beloved music comes into the world. To me, the process and result are magic.”

She may be slightly biased, but she is talking about Built To Spill. We’ll take her word for it. Give us your thoughts on the album in the comments. There is No Enemy will officially be released on October 6. [via Stereogum]

“Worried Shoes,” a Daniel Johnston cover, is an early favorite here at Flavorpill HQ. Which tracks do you like? Read More »
